Our Welcome Aboard (WAB) event, each June, is the Parent Group's main event for the year.  This is an opportunity for all the parent members to welcome the new plebe candidates and their familes. We all remember how it felt when our sons and daughters were preparing for this new, exciting and, sometimes confusing, time known as 'Indoc' and then 'First Tri'.  WAB is our opportunity to pay it forward and provide the friendship and support that will help make the transition for the entire plebe family so much easier. Having a cohort of those who completely understand what a plebe parent is feeling, as well as being willing to offer insight and support, is priceless. Not to mention the inspiration provided by current and past mids who also attend.

To make this event possible, we need many parent helpers.  There are many specific duties as part of the overall planning for which we can use your help.  Food planning, decorations, name tags, photograhy door prizes, fundraising and more.​
